LISA Lisa & Bud
Not bad for an old gal :) Nothin like a good Dog
I am Lisa, seperated and learing life all over again, country at heart, just a lil Red Neck girl, makin her way through this crazy world.
Huntin, fishin and trappin have been an American way of life for ever. Recently, we got a few folks screamin bout being 'politicaly correct". Honestly, if ya just aint into furs, then go on and exit the site. aint no one twistin your arm to keep you here.
Well The picture above, thats me . I live in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. Been huntin and trappin my whole life. Love fishin, campin, and work as a house painter. I try to work hard, and play hard, lifes too short to do it any other way. Give me a Friday night, a full tank of Diesel in the Dodge Ram, and a sawdust covered dance floor, and as they say "Theres nothing like a Red Neck Girl"....
Lisa Gets A 383 STROKER !!!!
BREAKING NEWS. I drive a 1989 Chevy Cheyenne 4X4 ShortBed for my work truck. It was purchased 15 years ago with 70 thousand miles on it. It had nearly 255 thousand miles on the origional stock 305. As I LOVE this truck, { But the engine left a lot to be desired } getting a new truck was not an option, so i decided that It was time for a fresh engine. After extensive research, I selected a new engine built by " Tough Dawg Engines". {{ http://stores.ebay.com/Tuff-Dawg-Engines }} This engine is a 383 Stroker, and is totaly compatable with all stock features in the truck. It will at least double my horse power, and based on the EBay feedback, along with the time this company spent answering my questions, I feel confadent that This company is providing a quality product, at a very competitive price. AS soon as its installed, Ill post a lil bit more and of course, a few pictures of my new "STROKER"....
UPDATE: The engine is in !!!!! my mechanic has been doing this work for 50 years, and said this was one of the best built engines hes ever handled, from the TDC alignment to the individualy painted parts. When we put some fire to it, it preformed as expected and more. with neck jerking accilaration, tire smoking torque, and never missing a beat, it excedes my expectations. I HIGHLY Recomend anyone looking for an affordable quality engine to give this company a call. Ask for Doug and tell em The "Lil Red Neck Girl " sent you.
OK part 2 of the truck build. I just ordered a new transmission from http://www.eatmyshift.com/ otherwise known as Monster Transmission. I am getting the heavy duty 4X4 version of their 700R4. it features a super low first gear, and an overdrive that gives you a 30% to 40% reduction in engine RPM's. It will stand up to 500 horse power, pushing snow and pulling the camper. I will get a few pictures uploaded after it arrives and more as it gets painted and installed. Im thinking reptile/Monster Green.
Painted and ready for install
This is what ya call " A monster in a box "
