Clear & Present Dangers
I recall the days when a walk in the neighborhood on a summers evening wasnt given a second thought, when coming home from school ment playing outdoors, fishing and shooting the BB gun. I recall school mornings starting with a Prayer, Pledging Alegence to the flag, and boys and girls actualy knowing the words to say.
Now, a walk around most towns and cities reveils run down neighborhoods where drug dealers and criminal addicts lurk on every corner. Now in school, the children get expelled for praying, and the pledge of allegiance has been changed so as not to offend someone. I could go on, but you know EXACTLY what I am saying.
For starters, I dont do drugs, wont drink to an excess, and absolutly despise any one that does. Addicts and drug dealers are, in my opinion responsable for a greater portion of the crime and moral decay in this country. Gangs, drive by shootings, petty theft, broken homes and marriages, children growing up with only one parent or in foster care, all a result of the drug culture. Consider that there are more black men in prison then there are in school. consider that blacks make up at best, 20% of the general population, but comprise better then 50% of all inmates in Americas prison system, and that is a low conservative estamate. Need I go on?
Imagrents. Ellegal entry into MY country. Then the bleedin hearts in Washington give them housing, food, education, medical care, all on MY TAX DOLLAR. Yet my fellow Americans suffer in poverty in Appalachia, In our heartland, in every corner of our great country. My policy on ellegal border crossings, you get sent back, in a sack. For those that come in legaly, it should be mandated, that they come for a reason. Im bout sick of forign interests coming in, then demanding we change our ways to suit them.
The Bail out. over 3 trillion now from what i hear. Wall street got the gold mine and like always, the American people got the shaft. Chevrolet and Chrysler are in bankruptsy, being bought out by the Italians, Ford is struggling, Private home foreclosures are up, unemployment is soaring, fuel prices are skyrocketing, Construction is at a stand still, and Washington is telling me that the 'Stimulas plan is working?'
One Nation under GOD. Now you interpit GOD any way you want, im not preachin here. What I am saying is that the founding fathers had a plan, an ideal, that based a government on BIBLICAL STANDARDS. Remember the big 10, the " Thou shalt not's".? They formed a foundation for a government by the people, where as in Gods design, all people had certain rights that could not be taken away. We taught our children these tennants in school with a morning prayer, and a pledge of allegiance to our great nation. We were a nation of immagrents that came here from every culture known to man. our diversity was our strength. Now, those of us that are decendants of the european founding fathers, are being beaten down, our God given rights taken away, and we are being forced to support and provide for those that practice lazyness, those that rebuke their parental responsabilities, and those with weak character that fall prey to drugs, pornography, and a life of crime. With the new laws that allow a Mother to abandon her child at any hospital, with abortion an option for what ever reason, if they are right, perhaps you can tell me what those people see as wrong? Something is drasticly wrong, when a nation, founded due to the deep desire for freedom of religion, finds itself removing GOD from most things related to that nation.
Sexuality. first off, how would I know what you are, unless your shoving it in my face? Now understand me, lets eliminate a certain group of people from this. there are folks, born with both sexes, or born with a mental identity of one sex and a body of the other. intersexed, hermapadites, trassexuals, all fit this group. these people have a tremendous battle, deciding what they are, undergoing corrective surgeries, and batteling sexual & gender sterio types. I do not see sin in these peoples actions . Now, the other groups, be it gay, lesbian, transgenders, crossdressers, pan sexuals, bi sexuals, or what ever clever lil name you put on yourself. My faith says its wrong. its right there in black & white & red. Im told not to judge you, so i wont. Ill Do business fairly with you, Ill be polite in a social situation, but by my Gods word, I Dont want to be your buddy or meet up on Friday night for a few drinks. Its that simple.
Being "Green" . Well, i love the outdoors. nothin pisses me off more then to see trash thrown all over at one of my favorite fishing holes. Green is something we all should attempt to be. using less energy means lower bills. less trash means less natural areas being turned into landfills.
Buy American. Well, you drive your toyota car, watch your mitsubishi Tv set, turn on your sony walk man, have clothing made in Vietnam, and eat off plates and forks made in china. and your going to complain that you got laid off because your company is relocating to Mexico? In this, you are either part of the problem, or you aggressivly seek out American made goods. I know its hard, it costs more, and virtualy nothing is 100% American made now. But while your watching Chevrolet and Chrysler in bankruptsy, realise your toyota is 90% of the reason why. All the workers that used to make America great, now push hamburgers at mcdonalds for minamun wage. Retirees have to return to work, social security is failing and going broke, Medical costs are up 300% in 3 years, and the root cause, Americans cant earn a decent wage as all the manufacturing jobs have left the country. We sold out America for cheap junk imported from every nation on earth. The Confederates and Patriots will seek out the old folks, learn the old ways. growing food, making clothing and household goods. we look for local markets and local goods. we market our skills. we turn back to the land that God blessed us with. and we demand of the retailers that we are forced to do business with, that they too, seek out products made by American workers, in American factories.
Crime. A cop once told me, that virtualy every person, commits a crime, every day. Laws we are unaware of, little things when we think no one is looking. Im not addressing that here. I am addressing the preconcieved crime, the robberies, rapes, murders, drug deals, pedafiles and wife beaters, and the like. Too these people, they show that they have the capacity, and the desire, to forcefully remove another persons rights. I beleive in zero tolarance for violent crime. I beleive that the courts should have input from the victem as to proper punishment. A man that beats his wife, put him in a stock and give her a whip or cane. You murder a person, then you face death by that persons family. you defile a child, you face castration. Its clear that prison has no effect. with recidasim at 85% , its almost a guarantee that they will do the time, get out and do it again. real detterant has to be personal and memorable. For those in prison, costing me $25,000 a year to house, make them work. Bring back road gangs, factory workers, food and laundry services. Mandate education and job training, things that will give them a skill to earn a living once they are released.
Hate crimes... Ill buy that when i see a group of black men get charged for beating some poor white guy silly just because he happened down the wrong street in their 'hood'.
Racism. Im not a racist. I have a wonderful black friend, and i never belittle him. We work together, we go places, fishing and camping. He works hard, does great work. On the personal side, he looks out for me, helps me with chores, home repairs, and he even comes in and cooks a dinner at times. He would take a bullet for me, face off any danger, and in any way he can, he respects me as a friend. he is one of the few, even over my white male friends, that cares enough to go that extra mile and help out when its needed. On the other hand, I see these young men, black and white, drawers down around their knees, underwear showing, music? blaring, standing on street corners spewing vulgarity at every passer by. Niggers? Wiggers? Trash no matter how you define it. I dont see that as racist, i see that as having a huge distaste and dislike, for people that are not worth the air they breathe. people that would steal from their mothers, pimp out their girl friends, and deny basic rights to anyone for their benafit. men of any age in my mind , are those that respect women, care about God and family, and hold dear the freedoms and rights that our fathers fought and died for. the type of man that will come to the aid of a woman or child without regars for his own safety, the type of man that leads his family in a Godly way, the type of man that understands his role in life, be it through his skin color, nationality or otherwise. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that, as children are taught their place, a woman should know her place, and accordingly, according to Gods plan, A man should take his place according to that plan.
Young people are the hope of any nation. It greives me to see and hear the attitudes of todays youth. things like "Its not kool to work", and " I am entitled" . Then there is the 'up the antie' , from a fist fight years ago, to now, take a life over some trifflin issue. Well I beleive God intended us to work every day. Thats why he gave us thumbs on our hands. i beleive dispute resolution should be peacefull, but i now carry a gun cause I will shoot back. We have no one to blame on these kids but ourselves as a society. We gave them credit cards, new cars, shoes and jeans that cost a weeks pay check, we gave them video games that glorify killing, the same type used to train our soldiers for war. we gave them cell phones. internet and access to every bit of information known to man, before they had a chance to mature enough to handle that info. we told them dirt in the back yard garden was dirty, garden hoses were not for drinking out of, and spanking a child was child abuse. Then alnog came face book, twitter and all the other cyber sites where "friends" were never met, You can be anything you choose to be, and a social life means spending hours chatting to people that are not who they say, look nothing like their picture, and have no real life. EXCUSE ME>>>> Spare not the rod, Children, respect your parents and elders, Bring honor to your family, All there in the good book. But alas, these children dont beleive in God, they adopted so woo woo beleif that put them on a level; with God. God give us strength, wisdom and courage as these young mature and assume leadership of our nation.
Ive rambled and ranted enough. This should give you a fairly solid picture of where I Stand. Call me what you wish, as I assure you I have been called worse. Me, I call myself a Confederate, a Patriot. Im a Rebel, a Red Neck, a Sportswoman and a girl. I Drive Two American made trucks, own my own home X 2 Free and clear. I care for my mother at 91 years of age and consider it a labor of love. I raised my two sons without food stamps, welfare or government housing. I taught them to hunt and fish by age 7, and now enjoy seeing them raising their own families. I own my own painting company and am respected in my community. Im just an American woman, holding strong to the values and morality that made America what I remember as a child. Mayberry might be long gone, but on my street, The 'Stars And Bars' flies along side the 'Stars and Stripes' 24 / 7.
